During a recent visit with Dr. Stephen White at Texas ENT Center I asked him if he could recommend an audiologist. My current hearing aids were not adequate. He recommended Kristin Schmidt who is onsite at ENT. Ms. Schmidt ran an extensive hearing test and recommended new hearing aids. The programmed them to my requirements when they arrived. I am amazed at their performance and hearing levels not heard for many years! I fully recommend ENT and the professional abilities of Kristin Schmidt. She has improved my life and that of those around me.

We found Texas ENT through a google search and decided to take a chance. Dr. White has been incredible each visit. The staff is patient, and easy to work with and Dr. White seems to have a genuine interest in his patients and their well-being. Couldn't recommend him more.

Excellent, outstanding and do not wait. I put up with the tinnitus as it progressively got worse for 4 years until the roaring was about to drive me mad.

I can't tell you how much better things have been the last few days since walking into that office. The constant ringing in my ears took up a lot of my time thinking about the roar and working around the distraction. Now that roar is absent with the hearing aids Dr. Kristin Schmidt set me up with.  Best Christmas present I could get this year.  I absolutely feel like I can think again and concentrate on a conversation without consciously tuning out the loud high pitch whine in my ears and exhausting myself trying to focus on a voice.

Also I also had no clue that my hearing in general had gotten so bad given I hadn't had a hearing test since leaving the service over 25 years ago. What a difference a trip to Texas ENT has made for me.

I can't encourage you enough to go talk to them if you are struggling with tinites or paying attention to conversations.

Results may vary, but you also may find significant relief like I did.

I called on a Monday morning to see if they could work in my daughter (a new patient) that day for a bad ear infection that wouldn't respond to treatment. We had already seen 4 other health care providers including an ER visit the night before. My daughter was moving to college the following day so we had no flexibility on time. Regardless of a full schedule, they worked us in with their PA. The entire staff was kind, efficient and very professional. We are so thankful for the compassion they showed us today. We feel confident with the treatment performed in office and recommendations made for home care. I highly recommend this office. S.F.

Just a quick thank you to EVERYONE at Texas ENT Center. Sorry that I can't remember all the names as I have been in a fog for the last couple of weeks with a horrible ear infection.

The front office staff are THE BEST...very professional and very kind. Dr. Christianson is a great doctor, puts you at ease and explains everything that he is doing. His nurse is a great listener and very empathetic. The audiologist was also very professional and didn't waste time getting me to the doctor to take care of me. And last, but definitely not the least, the business manager, Stacey, was also very quick to respond to an issue that I was having with my method of payment.

Dr. Elizabeth Kehrwald is treating both my wife and I starting in September of 2017. I highly recommend Dr. Kehrwald both for audio screening and, if needed, hearing aids. I was so impressed by how thorough my wife’s screening in 2017 (not just tone tests) and hearing aid support that I scheduled my own screening in 2017. I had just slight loss then. Next recommended screening in Nov. 2019 showed enough loss to start hearing aids. Dr Kehrwald carefully explained the products and what to expect. Follows up and works with you to adjust the aids to give you the best individual result. Encourages feedback from you and to return if any changes or issues arise. We are very happy to be her patients. T.D.

I have been a patient of Texas ENT Center for 4 years now, specifically of Dr. Kehrwald the Audiologist. I've worn Hearing Aids since I was an infant, and this is by far the most superior, professional service I have ever received or seen. Dr. Kehrwald has a real passion for Audiology and goes extraordinary lengths to better serve her patients. The entire staff from the time you check in is so kind and sweet, and is there to cater to your needs. Dr. Kehrwald is also my mother's Audiologist, and we both are beyond ecstatic with the services we receive from her. Truly an outstanding individual who takes care of the patient long before the enter the practice and after they leave. Highly recommend!! (2018)

Edited to add: I have now received 2 pairs of hearing aids through Dr. Kehrwald. She ensures to get the fit correct the first time for minimal follow-up on my time. She listens to my requests and complies with my needs/wants. Love Dr. Kehrwald! (2021)

We recently found out that our 9 year old son has hearing loss. Dr. Kehrwald was incredible helping us navigate this new journey. She guided us through testing, MRIs, and what hearing aids worked best for our son. She has explained everything thoroughly, and we have left every appointment feeling like we know what our next steps are.

The Audiologist, Dr. Kristen Schmidt Au. D., is extremely thorough, not only with the hearing exam but addressing hearing loss and it's impact on cognitive and physical health, the meaning of my exam results, comprehension of my personal life style/work and recreational activities, and even working with my spouse. She is absolutely amazing at explaining EVERYTHING in easy to understand terms, managing my expectations with new hearing aids including use and care of the devices and emphasizing that my commitment is essential to my own success with the hearing aids. Dr. White took a great deal time to discuss my specific condition. I felt like I was his only patient that day. I never felt rushed or like cattle as some offices can do. The front desk folks are super friendly. I would most definitely recommend this team of practitioners!

Today I came home from my ENT with a bag of hope. Something I always have, just now I have a lot more of it. Almost two years ago I suddenly developed an acute version of tinnitus, along with a routine sinus infection. My sinus infection went away, but the constant ringing in my ears, 24/7, did not. Most days when I'm talking to you in person I hear something that sounds something like a loud dental drill or a firetruck, which is usually louder than the crowd at an NFL stadium. For about 18 months I was treated by another ENT (very reputable) with hearing aids that mask the obnoxious sound I hear, by playing white noise along side of it, to try and reprogram my hearing. Unfortunately that didn't do a whole lot for me. I have hearing loss and my brain makes a noise that it thinks my ears should be hearing (the drill/firetruck sounds). In February I went to see Dr. Kerhwald, at Texas ENT Center, for an ear infection. She suggested also treating my hearing loss instead of masking the tinnitus with white noise. I had my prior ENT adjust my hearing aids to where I've been able to hear some of what I was missing. Since doing that I'd had some relief, some less bad days, which I'd never had before. That was great, but my old hearing aids are unable to reproduce the full range of sounds that I'm missing. Today Texas ENT upgraded my Oticon hearing aids to better, Widex hearing aids. I have way more control, options and they let me hear things so much better. I'm very hopeful that this will make things much more manageable and better. So far this looks like the best thing my ears have seen in two years. Thank you Dr. Kerhwald and Texas ENT Center.

I came in with an ear infection that I've had for 5 weeks. I had been to three other doc's before and nobody could make the right diagnose and give me the right treatment. Dr. White could tell immediately what the problem was and finally gave me the right drops to start the healing. It's been 3 days now and my infection is finally getting better! Dr. White is great! Only down side is that you don't get an appt right away even tho I told them it was urgent. I could have saved myself 4 weeks of agony if seen sooner.

We brought my 1 yr old here because of repeated ear infections, roughly one every three weeks. Dr. White was very nice and he said that we might need to put tubes in my son's ears but he wanted to wait to see if they got better on their own. I had some great anxiety about getting hearing aids. After talking with other vendors I was still very anxious, I was referred to Texas ENT by a friend. What a great experience!

Our 5 year old could not sleep well and breathe through her nose, so we went for a consultation with Dr. Christiansen. Scheduled an adenoid removal surgery in a few weeks, where Dr. Christiansen performed the procedure, and now she sleeps and can breathe through her nose. Dr. Kehrwald worked with 90 year old mother who has had a stroke. My mom’s ability to understand and also express herself are greatly impacted. Dr. K worked with my mother to fit her with hearing aids that were simple enough for my mother to use but technologically advanced to help her hear much better. Coming from Florida to Texas did't think I would find such great and compassionate Doctor like Dr Brandon, he guided me and helped me with my all year round allergies, I will recommend this place to any body, not only because they do a great job but just because they really care for you as a patient. And when I mentioned that he guided me I meant he did, my previous Dr was doing steroids shots straight to my nose to deal with my allergies until I met DR Brandon, and he explained the danger involved and give me so much knowledge about my allergies over all, so if you are looking for a Dr for your allergies do not doubt about this office. I had left an appointment request during the weekend on their webpage, they called me on sunday before opening and asked the reason. I told them my ears were killing me, i was in alot of pain. They found me an appointment to be seen for the following day. I was so greatful. They checked me and ended up prescribing me with some drops and medication for my ear infection. Loved the office they had great service and small play areas where little children can play. They were amazing. Following the intructions my ear healed within 5 days. I just wanted to leave a really good review since i wasnt able to go in to thank them in person, because when i went even though i was looking and feeling my worst, they didnt look down on me they were just very friendly and helpful. A couple of months ago I thought I lost my hearing because of leukemia and lymphoma but Dr White told me to try my nasal spray again and recommended hearing aids. I had lost hearing in my right ear and learned to live with this. I felt like giving up and didn’t think it was fixable. I have hearing aid in both of my ears and feel a sense of normalcy thanks to The audiologist Dr Schmidt. I still have problems with swelling due to lymphoma but I can treat most of the symptoms. I think I’m ready to fight but it scares me I think I’m ready to feel better
