Sino-Nasal Outcome Test (SNOT-20)

Below you will find a list of symptoms and social/emotional consequences of your rhinosinusitis. To find out your score, simply answer the following questions to the best of your ability. There are no right or wrong answers, and only you can provide us with this information. Please rate your problems as they have been over the past two weeks. Do not hesitate to ask for assistance if necessary.

HOW TO TAKE THIS TEST: Consider how severe the problem is when you experience it and how frequently it happens. Below the test there is a secure online form available should you want to reach out to us and request an appointment.

No problem to mild problem

No actions necessary or symptoms can usually be treated with OTC medication.

11 to 40

Moderate problem

An appointment with a specialist is recommended. Medical treatment, allergy control, and sinus procedures all potentially helpful.

41 to 69

Moderate to severe

An appointment with a specialist is recommended. Medical treatment, allergy control, and sinus procedures all potentially helpful.

70 to 100

Severe to “as bad as it can be”

An appointment with a specialist is recommended. Will likely need combinations of allergy control and sinus procedures to improve.
